Rossi Marquez

MotoGP Spoiler Alert commentary for all who have not seen this weekend's race, but if you are on F.B. then most likely spoiled:

Marquez is dead to me. Instead of Marquez racing to the front, he elects to block Rossi in 3rd position in a sour grapes move, since Marquez is not in title chase. If it was any other racer, Marquez would have driven to the front, especially if Rossi was ahead. Yes racers do block on team orders but Honda prides itself of letting its team mates win, and in this case the person to block was 2nd place Lorenzo, ahead of Rossi.

Rossi called out Marquez publically for his targeted blocking nonsense from last round. Any of the great riders would heed advice and race for the win or at the very least not sabotage the championship contenders battle. This year was headed to be the best finale between two Yamaha team mates, (Rossi and Lorenzo) instead Rossi was backed into corner to defend against Marquez the jealous saboteur.

I don't think Rossi intended to cause Marquez to crash but instead wanted to show Marquez that he can be parked in a corner also. If Rossi wanted Marquez to crash, it would be an outside move to the inside and chopping off front wheel leading with body or motocross block pass.

Lets hope the last round requires a restart with Rossi up in the grid and let the championship contenders battle it out.
